1. Inflatable castles
The great thing about classic looks is that they never go out of style, and while soft, sexy hair has always been popular, they take center stage this summer.
New York-based hairstylist Julius Michael says that to achieve the look, he starts by drying his hair with a large brush. “Start with small sections and heat the whole section,” he says. “Don’t forget to use the cool shutter button on the dryer to lock in the soft curl.”
He continues with each section until the hair is completely dry and then he tells you to brush it in a sexy summer style. “My favorite brush for this is the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion 3 1/2 inch thermal brush – the ceramic coated barrel heats up faster and retains heat when styling, and the ion technology eliminates frizz for one. perfect blast, “he says.
2. Air dried waves
Summer is the perfect time to give your hair a break from the tools of heat and embrace your natural air-dried waves and curls.
“To get a better curl, the advice is to apply the products to very damp hair. Don’t dry too much with a towel,” says Franck Izquierdo, co-founder of IGK Hair Care.
He recommends mixing a moisturizing hair conditioner with a hair cream and applying the mixture to damp hair. He then he sprinkles an anti-frizz spray on his hair. Oil for shine and hydration – let it air dry.”
3. Braids to frame the face
Look no further than Hailey Bieber for the easiest and most stylish Cali hairstyle everyone is rocking this season.

4. Mixture
“This 70s inspired cut is a hit!” explains Takisha Sturdivant-Drew, a New York-based celebrity hairstylist and Matrix brand ambassador.
For styling, she recommends spraying Matrix Instacure Anti Breakage Porosity Spray on damp hair as it controls static electricity and frizz by reducing visibly broken hair. After drying, Sturdivant-Drew straightens the hair with a straightener.
5. Boring Bob
The shorter cuts are back and the blunt bob has entered the conversation. “This look is super chic and turns heads,” says Monae Everett, celebrity hairstylist and Biolag ambassador. “The length is usually between the bottom of the ear and the shoulders.”
6. Natural volume
Sturdivant-Drew declared this natural volume summer and we are here for it.
She says that to keep curls big and full, she recommends Matrix’s A Curl Can Dream Moisturizing Leave-in Cream because it “provides hydration and definition without flaking or creasing.” So to keep the volume all day, she says to finish with the brand’s Vavoom Extra Full Spray to define the style.
7. Sloppy pixie
Super short hair is perfect for sweaty summers and thankfully this length is becoming trendy. says celebrity hairstylist and curl expert Biolag Cynthia Alvarez.
Keep your hair shiny and off the neck in the summer heat with a trendy fringe or bun.

Once the hair is dry and pulled back, he tells you to put it back into a ponytail using the brand’s previously recommended hair oil. He sets the style by spraying the look with a flexible hairspray.
8. Shulet
This version of the Mullet is 2022’s way of wearing this trend.
“This look features a fringe with shorter sides and a link length, which makes the cut a little more wearable and less risqué,” Alvarez previously told InStyle. “[It’s] a sleek, low-maintenance look that can be achieved with wavy and curled textures for a wash-and-wash feel.”
9. Wet Look
Everyone from Ciara and Megan Fox to Jennifer Lopez and Zendaya has recently hit the red carpet with wet looks.

11. Fluffy Shoulder Length Hair
“For this trendy, summery look for short hair, Ion Turbo Vent 100% Boar Round Brush, which is 2-1/2 inches,” says Michael. “You want to lift the roots, so for the front I always blow back and away from the face.”
12. Face Framing Threads Top Knots
Michael predicts that 90’s front sweeps will be everywhere this summer.
To get the look, use a brush and blow-dry your hair away from your face. Once everything is smooth and in place, pull it into a high ponytail. “Then I use the Olivia Garden CarbonLite Tail Comb to pull the front sections and small sections off the sides,” she says.
You can wrap the ponytail in a bun or knot and then pin it in place. If you want a stylish look, finish the look by smoothing the front and sides with an iron.
